11th Space brings you a series of fortnightly interactive talks designed to equip international students in preparing them for their next stage in life. This event is proudly supported by our community partners, the Indonesian Student Associations (PPIA) at RMIT University, Deakin University, Swinburne University, Monash University, PPIA Victoria, Indonesian Diaspora Network Australia and RMIT Student Entrepreneurship network.

This is the third episode of 11th Talks that will discuss about How to Stand Out as a Fresh Graduate. Every year, thousands of students graduated with the same qualifications and immediately entered the workforce. For that very reason, it is important for you to be able to distinguished yourself from the other candidates.

The session will be moderated by Cesya Saptari from 11th Space, with speakers Kennie Kurniawan, Marketing Manager of 11th Space and Indra Pramana, CEO of Navanti Indonesia who will talk about their experience & point of view when recruiting graduates.

We will discuss topics such as:

  • What does employers look for in fresh graduates?
  • What to put in your CV?
  • How to get ‘experience’ without an experience?

About the speakers

Kennie Kurniawan

Marketing Manager of 11th Space


Kennie is a well-rounded marketer with over 12 years of experience. Her career started in advertising, then market research and progressed to brand management at Unilever. In 2014, she started her own company and became active in the startup community, and eventually became the Head of Marketing at CoHive, Indonesia’s largest coworking space. Currently, she lives in Melbourne and is the Marketing Manager for 11th Space, a business hub & incubator with strong roots in the Indonesian community, where she also mentors founders through the NCubation program. Kennie has a Masters in Applied Commerce (Marketing) from Melbourne University & a Bachelor of Communications (Advertising-Creative) from the RMIT University in Melbourne.

As a member of the Board of Directors for Navanti Holdings, Indra brings his expertise in business development, networking, and ability in generating ideas and strategies. It is particularly through his strengths to create the potential network that brings the great value to the company, accompanied by his outgoing characteristic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Indra has always been a passionate believer in identifying opportunities and business strategies where needed, as well as assisting those who are seeking for their opportunities to become a reality. His many achievements includes being an Entrepreneurship mentor at BCA bank young community program 2018, Mentor at Live Projects Melbourne, Guest Lecturer at Deakin’s entrepreneurship unit and many more.
